山姆•夏普德（Sam Shepard），1943年11月5日出生于美国伊利诺伊州谢里登堡，演员、编剧、导演，普利策奖得主。他是20世纪后半期最著名的美国剧作家之一，一生中创作了40多部剧作，代表作有《德州巴黎》等。2017年8月1日，夏普德因肌萎缩侧索硬化症的并发症在家中逝世，享年73岁。
